Visual Support Operation Guide

Visual support such as screen magnification, color correction and talkback is available on the personal monitor of the Airbus A350-1000.

This is a function to change the text size. You can choose from 3 levels: Normal, Large, and Extra Large.

This is a function to make text easier to read by rendering black text with a thin white outline or white text with a thin black outline.

This is a function to adjust the color tone according to your color vision. You can choose from 3 types: Deuteranomaly which is a reduced sensitivity to green light, Protanomaly which is a reduced sensitivity to red light and Tritanomaly which is a reduced sensitivity to blue light.

This is a function to change all displays on the personal monitor to black and white inversion.

To select the item: Tap with a single finger on the controller.
To navigate to the next item: Swipe right with a single finger on the controller.
To navigate to the previous item: Swipe left with a single finger on the controller.
To return to Main Menu: Navigate to and tap the Menu button located in the upper left corner of the personal monitor.
To return to the previous screen: Navigate to and tap the Back button located in the upper left corner of the personal monitor, just below the Menu button.
To change the volume: Swipe up to increase and down to decrease the volume with two fingers on the controller.
To change the granularity of the readout to read only a paragraph, line, word or character at a time, swipe up or down with a single finger on the controller.

To select the item: Double tap on the personal monitor or alternatively tap with a single finger on the controller.
To navigate to the next item: Swipe right with a single finger on the personal monitor or on the controller.
To navigate to the previous item: Swipe left with a single finger on the personal monitor or on the controller.
To scroll the screen or the page: Drag with two fingers to scroll on the personal monitor.
To return to Main Menu: Long-press and double tap the Menu button located in the upper left corner of the personal monitor.
To return to the previous screen: Long-press and double-tap the Back button located in the upper left corner of your personal monitor, just below the Menu button.
