To meet popular demand, in addition to the two flights being operated daily from Narita to Manila, starting from February 1, 2019, a new daily from Haneda to Manila will be inaugurated. This flight will depart Haneda at 00:05, and the return flight will depart Manila ta 23:50, giving passengers a new choice of flight times and airports to better serve tourists and business people alike.

Japan Airlines will start codesharing with Garuda Indonesia Airline staring on October 28, 2018. With this arrangement our service network will double by including the Haneda-Jakarta and Narita-Denpasar routes in addition to our Narita-Jakarta 2 flights a day. Further it will become possible to connect to major Indonesian cities to offer a wider service network. Both airlines have been awarded 5-Stars by Skytrax and a high level of service can be enjoyed on flights on both airlines. Japan Airlines will now be offering increased convenience for both vacation and business travel to Indonesia.
Flight frequency on Tokyo (Narita) - Bangkok route are increased from March 25, 2018 through March 30, 2019.
The increased daily flight frequency (2 flights a day) from FY2017 will be maintained for this popular route.
