What you can do at the self-service check-in kiosk
Combined with online check-in for a smooth experience
If you've already checked in online, all you have to do is select the option you need.
- Print baggage tags
- Select or change your seat
- Register your JMB membership number
- Issue boarding passes
- Issue an e-ticket itinerary/receipt
- Issue a receipt for customer using the JAL Hands-Free Baggage Delivery Service
Use self-service check-in and earn miles
If you check in using your JMB or JAL CARD, air miles will be registered when you check in.
Also applicable to the mileage programs of other alliance carriers.

Passengers with e-tickets
The self-service check-in kiosk is not available if any of the following apply.
- Passengers affected by available seat restrictions
- Traveling on a codeshare flight operated by another carrier
- Passports that cannot be machine-read (e.g., those with maiden name or those that do not comply with ICAO international standards)
- Please note that even if you use the self-service check-in kiosk, a staff member will still need to review your ticket and passport to verify your travel documents.

The flight operating carrier is responsible for the operation of the codeshare flight, as well as airport and inflight services.
Therefore, the procedures and services available at the airport and on board may vary depending on the flight.
