A codeshare flight refers to the joint operation of two or more airlines.
Codeshare flight of JAL has a flight number starting with "JL" and is operated by partner airlines.

Services at the airport and in-flight
Operating carrier of codeshare flight will provide services of both airport and in-flight.
Operating carrier's policy applies for counter hours, lounge service, in-flight sevice, acceptance of infants and children, and disruption handling etc.
Conditions for baggage check in and free baggage allowance depend on the codeshare carrier. Please check with reservation or operating carrier for the details.
Check in counter
Depends on the flight, check-in may be handled at the Operating carriers counter.
Please consult with JAL International reservation or Operating carrier or your travel agency for details.
Mileage accumulation for codeshare flights
Mileage will be accumulated when you book and fly under JL flight number, except for the codeshare operated by JMB partner carrier.
Please confirm at reservation, you are booked with JL flight number.
