The JAL Website Will Be Renewed
The updated website will make JAL more accessible and easier to use for customers from every part of the world
As JAL is expanding their services beyond aviation into everyday life, their website, namely www.jal.co.jp, will be renewed one by one to make it more user-friendly and accessible.
During the first phase, the main page and other frequently used pages will be updated in 14 languages, including Japanese and English.
Designed with usability and accessibility in mind, the new website is easier to explore for our customers to enjoy JAL’s wide range of services. Why not try it to see for yourself?
Please note that the rollout will take place in three phases: the Japan websites and the overseas websites in Japanese are scheduled to go live on July 16; the overseas websites in English on July 29; and the overseas websites in other languages throughout August. (All dates are in JST)

To better serve customers with diverse needs and backgrounds, the menu structure has been redesigned around key tasks such as Book, My Bookings, and Travel Info.
In addition, each menu has been rearranged to search and view related information at a glance before navigating further.

The design and usability of the website and the JAL app have a seamless, consistent cross-platform experience. This is because more customers are using both platforms—the website to search for a wide range of situations and the JAL app when boarding your flight.
A multilingual website for anyone from anywhere can use with confidence
Expanded translation coverage
To meet the growing and diverse language needs for inbound visitors to Japan, 14 languages have been provided to date, including Japanese and English.
However, because the amount and content of translated pages varied by language, the translations will be expanded for all languages to the same amount as Japanese and English.
This will ensure that customers can access the information they need in any language or region, without barriers, and use the website with greater confidence.
