If you were unable to take necessary steps to accumulate mileage before your flight, you may request post flight credit for international flights and JMB partner airlines flights through the website.

JAL Group International Flights

Applicable Customers

JAL Mileage Bank members (only for flights taken by the logged-in member)

Applicable Flights

International flights with JAL/JTA flight numbers

  • Including codeshare flights operated by other airlines and domestic flights operated by Jetstar Japan

Application Period

From 5 days after the flight date within 6 months (Japan Time)

Mileage Accrual Conditions

Booking classes eligible for mileage accumulation

Required Information

Flight date, flight number and ticket number (13 digits)

Documents for Verification

E-ticket receipt, boarding pass or online boarding pass

Timing of Mileage Reflection

Immediately after the procedure is completed

JMB Partner Airlines Flights

Applicable Customers

JAL Mileage Bank members (only for flights taken by the logged-in member)

Applicable Flights

Domestic/International flights with JMB partner airlines flight numbers

Application Period

From 14 days after the flight date within 6 months (Japan Time)

Mileage Accrual Conditions

Please verify mileage accrual conditions of each JMB partner airlines

Required Information

Flight date, flight number, cabin class, booking class, sector and ticket number (13 digits)

Documents for Verification

E-ticket itinerary/receipt or ticket receipt and boarding pass

Timing of Mileage Reflection

Usually 1 week to 4 weeks after the procedure is completed (depending on the partner airline)

Post flight credit must be completed for each flight (each sector) individually. For round trips or connecting flights, please request for the number of flights accordingly.

Please be sure to keep your documents for verification until mileage is reflected in your account.

Due to the system maintenance, this service may not be available at late night hours (Japan Time).

Currently, there is a partial delay in the accrual of flight miles for Finnair flights, Alaska Airlines/Hawaiian Airlines.

Notice regarding Post Flight Credit for JMB Partner Airlines Flights

1. When mileage is not reflected after completing the procedure on the website

If you cannot confirm mileage accrual after completing the procedure, please submit your application again following the instructions below.

 (1) Access the dedicated application form via the URL provided in the email sent to members who could not accumulate mileage.

  • Email subject: "Notification to JAL Mileage Bank Members Who Requested Post-flight Mileage Credit for JMB Partner Airlines Flights via JAL Website."

 (2) Upload e-ticket itinerary/receipt or ticket receipt and your boarding pass via the application form.

  • If the "e-ticket itinerary/receipt or ticket receipt" or the "boarding pass" is missing, your request will not be accepted.

2. Other notes

  • If there are errors in the entered information, even mileage that have already been credited may later be corrected to the accurate mileage or deleted.
  • To confirm your application details, you may be contacted via email at the email address registered in JAL Mileage Bank.
  • For JMB members in overseas regions requesting post flight credit for Air France (AF) or LATAM Airlines (LA) flights, please proceed from application form below.
