Enrollment (for members living outside Japan who are not JALCARD members)
JAL Global Club (JGC) is an exclusive membership program that offers special services and benefits to experienced travelers who have supported the JAL Group.
Membership Qualifications
JAL Global Club (JGC) membership is available to JMB members who meet all of the following criteria:
- Must be a JAL Mileage Bank member living in a country/area other than Japan.
- Must have earned at least 1,500 Life Status Points under the JAL Life Status Program, and
- Must agree to comply with the JAL Global Club Membership Rules.
Once the enrollment process is completed, you will be registered as a JAL Global Club member. Your initial JGC membership is valid until March 31 of the following service year after the date you enrolled in JAL Global Club.
Initial Registration Fee
An initial registration fee of 2,000 miles* will be deducted automatically from the JAL Global Club member's account at initial registration.
- For JAL Family Club members who are 18 years of age or older, 2,000 miles will be deducted from the family mileage pool.
Membership Renewal
2,000 miles* will be deducted from your account at membership renewal.
- Regardless of your flight activity from January to December, your membership qualification will be renewed uniformly through the deduction of 2,000 miles conducted in early February. If the miles are insufficient at the time of deduction, the deduction will be attempted again in early March. If it is still not possible to deduct the miles, your JAL Global Club membership will be terminated as of March 31.
- Members with a JALCARD CLUB-A Card, CLUB-A Gold Card, JAL Diners Card, Platinum Card, or Platinum Pro Card are required to pay 2,000 miles at renewal in addition to the JALCARD annual fee. Members with any of these cards will be asked to enroll in JAL Global Club via the same process as those living in Japan.
Validity after renewal: Until March 31 of the year following the date of membership renewal.
Only members, who request a physical JAL Global Club card, namely a JGC oneworld Sapphire card, will receive the card by mail. If not, your membership status is stated under "Home" and "Membership" on the JAL app.

JAL Global Club cards (JGC oneworld Sapphire cards) will be issued only upon request.
Just show the "Membership" status on the JAL app to a JAL staff to enjoy all the services and benefits offered to our members.

Changes in Registered Membership Information
If there are any changes in your registered membership information:
JAL Family Club members: Please register your new address through the JAL Family Club website after you have moved to your new address.
JMB members: Please register your new address through the JAL website
Presentation of Proof of Membership
Please present any of the following to enjoy JAL Global Club services and benefits:
- Your JAL app "Membership" screen
- Your status card
