All services below will be available until March 31 of the second year following status qualification.

First Services

Services that are available to members around one week after status qualification

Notice

FLY ON status cards and JGC oneworld Sapphire cards are issued only upon request.

On/after July 1, 2023 (departure date), FLY ON members will start to receive FLY ON Program Mile-Up bonus on MH flights between Japan and Malaysia. Accumulation rate varies by FLY ON membership status level.

  1. After qualification, JGC Premier services will be offered to new JGC members starting from around one week after JGC enrollment (provided that JGC enrollment is completed by June of the year following qualification).
  2. Priority check-in is available for Japan domestic routes only when flying in Class J and for international routes only when departing from airports with JAL Business Class check-in counters.
  3. When flying on oneworld alliance member flights, priority check-in is available to the status member only.
  4. When flying with oneworld alliance member airlines.
    Piece system: Standard allowance + 1 extra checked bag
    Weight system: Standard allowance + 20 kg
  5. When flying with oneworld alliance member airlines in Economy Class.
    Piece system: Standard allowance + 1 extra checked bag (up to 23 kg per one extra piece), for a total maximum of 2 pieces
    • This service does not apply when the Standard Free Baggage Allowance is 2 pieces.
      Weight system: Standard allowance + 15 kg
  6. Haneda Airport (domestic), Itami Airport, New Chitose Airport, Fukuoka Airport, Naha Airport (at Naha Airport, only the Special Security Gate has been introduced).
  7. Applicable airports are subject to change. Due to restrictions or local agreements with Priority Security Lane operators, this service is not available to Emerald tier customers at some airports regardless of the airline they are traveling. Please refer to the oneworld alliance website for further details.
  8. Not available on flights operated by British Airways.
  9. Priority Baggage Service is available on Japan domestic flights only when flying in Class J.
  10. Only available to JAL Global Club JALCARD (CLUB-A or higher) cardholders.
  11. Suspension of mileage expiration will take effect from miles that would normally expire at the end of the month following the month of Status qualification. FLY ON qualification date is the day on which the member meets the status qualification requirements based on FLY ON Points that are credited to the member's JMB account or the number of flights taken in one calendar year from January through December.
  12. Special services available to JMB Diamond members who meet the Diamond Metal qualification standards.
  13. Mile UP Bonus is awarded for JAL Group flights, American Airlines (AA) flights, British Airways (BA) flights, Iberia(IB) flights and Malaysia Airlines (MH) flights (on/after July 1, 2023/ between Japan and Malaysia route only).
  • Certain restrictions apply to available services, flights, and airports when flying on codeshare flights operated by airlines other than JAL. For more information, please refer to the services offered on codeshare flights.
  • FLY ON Program services cannot be used in conjunction with JAL Global Club services.
  • Services are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Services when flying with oneworld alliance member airlines may not be available depending on the airline, route, or airport facilities.
  • When flying on JAL Group flights, oneworld alliance member flights, or codeshare flights operated by partner airlines, airport services are also available by displaying a valid membership status on the relevant app's screen and presenting it to the relevant airport staff.
