JMB CRYSTAL
JMB Crystal is awarded to JMB members who meet either of the following criteria on JAL Group and oneworld alliance flights flown during the preceding calendar year from January to December:
- JMB member who has accrued at least 30,000 FLY ON Points (including 15,000 FLY ON Points on JAL Group flights), or
- JMB member who has attained at least 30 flights (including at least 15 JAL Group flights) and 10,000 FLY ON Points
- Only flights that are flown on fares eligible for JMB mileage accrual will count toward the total number of flights qualifying for FLY ON status.
- JAL Global Club members who attain JMB Crystal status will be issued a JGC CRYSTAL card.
- JMB Crystal services cannot be used in conjunction with JAL Global Club services.

oneworld tier status
JMB FLY ON members will also receive special services with oneworld alliance airlines.
Ruby
JMB Crystal members will be able to enjoy oneworld Ruby services.
Sapphire
JAL Global Club members who attain JMB Crystal status will be able to enjoy oneworld Sapphire services.
Service availability period
First Services
Services that are available to members around one week after status qualification
Second Services
Services that are available to members once your FLY ON status card arrives or your membership status is reflected in the JAL app until March 31 of the second year following status qualification
Third Services
Services that are available from April 1 of the year following status qualification
- Third Services are available only to JMB Diamond and JGC Premier members.
- All services will be available until March 31 of the second year following status qualification.
- FLY ON membership cards will arrive around two to three weeks after qualification. Depending on where the member lives and for members living outside of Japan, circumstances may dictate that FLY ON status cards will arrive later than planned.

By presenting your CRYSTAL card at the airport, all of the services indicated below will be available when departing on JAL Group airlines flights.
Priority Check-in

- Priority Check-in can be used by the JMB Crystal member and one traveling companion when flying on JAL Group domestic flights or JAL international flights. When flying on oneworld alliance member flights, priority check-in is available to the JMB Crystal member only.
- Some restrictions may apply when flying on charter flights or codeshare flights operated by other airlines. For more information, please refer to the services offered on codeshare flights.
Priority Baggage Service
Crystal members who fly on JAL Group flights will have their baggage tagged as priority.
- Priority Baggage Service is available on Japan domestic flights only when flying in Class J.
- JGC Crystal members are also eligible for Priority Baggage Service when flying on oneworld alliance member flights.
- Priority Baggage Service is available to the Crystal member only.
- Priority Baggage Service is not available when baggage is checked through to/from flights operated by other airlines.
- Some restrictions may apply when flying on charter flights or codeshare flights operated by other airlines. For more information, please refer to the services offered on codeshare flights.
Extra Checked Baggage Allowance
In addition to the standard checked baggage allowance, JMB Crystal members who fly on JAL Group flights can check in the following extra baggage free of charge.
JAL Global Club members will also enjoy an extra checked baggage allowance when flying on oneworld alliance member flights.

- For JAL Global Club members, the standard checked baggage allowance is a maximum of 32 kg per piece, even when flying in JAL international Economy Class or Premium Economy Class.
- Extra Checked Baggage Allowance is available to the JMB Crystal member only.
- Extra Checked Baggage Allowance may not apply depending on the type, size, or weight of your baggage.
- Extra Checked Baggage Allowance is not available when baggage is checked through to/from flights operated by other airlines.
- Some restrictions may apply when flying on charter flights or codeshare flights operated by other airlines. For more information, please refer to the services offered on codeshare flights.
Priority Standby
By presenting your CRYSTAL card, priority standby will apply when you wait for a seat on JAL Group flights or oneworld alliance member flights at the airport on the day of departure.
- For Japan domestic flights, the same priority standby number will apply to First Class, Class J, and Economy Class.
- This service may not be available at some airports or for some flights, and also may not be available in the event of bad weather such as typhoons or heavy snow.
- This service is not available when flying on codeshare flights operated by other airlines
Priority Boarding
JMB Crystal members (International flights only)
Upon presentation of your CRYSTAL card and boarding pass, you have the privilege to board prior to general boarding on JAL international flights.
JAL Global Club members
Upon presentation of your CRYSTAL card and boarding pass, you have the privilege to board prior to general boarding on JAL Group and oneworld alliance member flights.
- Priority Boarding Service is available to the eligible member only.
- This service may not be available at some airports or for some flights.
