You can check your baggage by yourself.

By using self-service check-in kiosk and Self Baggage Drop , you can check-in your baggage smoothly.

HOW TO USE

    STEP 1-1

     

    Issue a bag tag in self-service check-in  kiosk.

    STEP 1-2

     

    Attach the bag tag to your baggage and go to the Self Baggage Drop.

    STEP 2-1

     

    Tap your  IC card or scan your two-dimensional barcode at the Self Baggage Drop.

    STEP 2-2

     

    Place your baggage one by one on the Self baggage drop belt.

    STEP 2-3

     

    Check for dangerous goods on the screen.

    STEP 2-4

     

    Receive a baggage claim tag.

    What you need for checking-in your baggage

    Please have one of the following items (2D barcode for your flight or your JMB card/JAL CARD) on hand.

    (1) JMB IC card, JALCARD, or mobile with IC (NFC) function

    (2) JMB card (without IC function)

    (3) 2D barcode

    (4) Order Number (8 or 12-digit)

    • If you have (1) - (3), you need to tap it in both self-service check-in kiosk and Self Baggage Drop.
    • If you have (4), you need a boarding pass issued after check-in.

    Installed airports

    We are planning to install SBD at the following airports.

    • Naha Airport: Around summer 2021
    • Osaka International Airport (Itami): Around autumn 2021
    • Fukuoka Airport: Around spring 2022

    Others

    • Free checked baggage allowance is up to 20kg.(First class passengers up to 45 kg are free of charge.)
      *If you have a companion, please add him/her at self-service check-in kiosk.
    • No limit on the number of checked baggage.
    • Total outside dimension (length + width + height): within 50cm x 60cm x 110cm.
      *If you have a baggage longer than 110 cm, please come to the special baggage counter.
