Information

Connecting from a domestic flight to an international flight? You can now use the self-service check-in kiosk and Self Baggage Drop.

[Eligible Airports and Start Dates]
・Osaka International Airport (Itami): From Tuesday, July 15, 2025
・Fukuoka Airport, Naha Airport: From Tuesday, July 29, 2025
・Tokyo International Airport (Haneda): From Thursday, July 31, 2025
・New Chitose Airport: From Tuesday, August 5, 2025

You can check your baggage by yourself.

By using self-service check-in kiosk and Self Baggage Drop, you can check-in your baggage smoothly.

HOW TO USE

    STEP 1-1  

    Issue a bag tag in self-service check-in kiosk.

    STEP 1-2  

    Attach the bag tag to your baggage and go to the Self Baggage Drop.

    STEP 2-1  

    Tap your  IC card or scan your two-dimensional barcode at the Self Baggage Drop.

    STEP 2-2  

    Place your baggage one by one on the Self baggage drop belt.

    STEP 2-3  

    Check for dangerous goods on the screen.

    STEP 2-4  

    Receive a baggage claim tag.

    What you need for checking-in your baggage

    Please have one of the following items (2D barcode for your flight or your JMB card/JAL CARD) on hand.

    (1) JMB IC card, JALCARD, or mobile with IC (NFC) function

    (2) 2D barcode

    (3) Ticket Number（13-digit)

    • If you have (1)(2), you need to tap it in both self-service check-in kiosk and Self Baggage Drop.
    • If you have (3), you need a boarding pass issued after check-in.

    • Free checked baggage allowance is up to 20kg.(First class passengers up to 45 kg are free of charge.)
      *If you have a companion, please add him/her at self-service check-in kiosk.
    • No limit on the number of checked baggage.
    • Total outside dimension (length + width + height): within 50cm x 60cm x 110cm.
      *If you have a baggage longer than 110 cm, please come to the special baggage counter.
    • If you have a stroller, please come to the special assistance counter.
