What are biometric and screen lock authentication?
Biometric and screen lock authentication allow you to quickly and securely unlock apps and log into your JMB account using biometric identifiers (fingerprints, iris, face, among others.) or your screen unlock procedure (PIN, pattern, among others.).
How to set up biometric and screen lock authentication

Points to Note and General Information
- Because authentication is performed on your personal device, there’s no need to share your biometric data with JAL.
- JAL recommends that you choose a screen unlock procedure that is difficult for others to guess in case you lose your personal device.
- To use biometric authentication on your personal device, you’ll need to first enable fingerprint or face recognition and passcode.
- Some device models may not be compatible even if they are equipped with biometric sensors.
