Japanese citizens do not require a visa for stays of 90 days or less. (However, passports must be valid for the duration of stay plus at least one month.) For longer stays, please contact the Chinese Embassy Consular Division to apply for a visa. When you present your passport, the official will ask you the intended duration of your stay, and passenger get Landing slip about Permitted date of stay.
Pets must be shipped as cargo covered by an airwaybill.
