FLY ON Services and Benefits - Mileage
Service Availability Period
Status benefits are available from the time your status is reflected in the JAL app, the JAL Mileage Bank app, or on My Page, until March 31 two years after your status achievement.
- Please note that it takes approximately three to seven days for your status to be updated. When flying with partner airlines, this process may take from one to four weeks or longer.
- Service Selection and Diamond Metal benefits will be available starting April of the year following your status achievement.
- Please make sure to register your JMB membership number when making a reservation. If your number is not registered, you may not be able to access your status benefits.

Mile-Up Bonus
JMB Diamond members will receive bonus miles for every JAL Group, American Airlines, British Airways, Iberia, Malaysia Airlines (Japan-Malaysia route) and Garuda Indonesia (Japan-Indonesia route) flight traveled during the JMB Diamond eligibility period. To qualify, flights must be flown with fares eligible for JMB mileage accrual.

Suspension of Mileage Expiration
When members are eligible to have JMB Diamond or JGC Premier status, the accumulated miles will have no expiration date and will be retained.
- This mileage expiration waiver applies to miles that are scheduled to expire from the end of the month when the status applies. Please note that it takes approximately three to seven days from your status-qualifying flight until your status is reflected, depending on the flight and the time of travel. In addition, please be aware that it may take over a week if you fly with partner airlines.
- If your status changes from JMB Diamond or JGC Premier to another tier, or if your status expires, the expiration date for all your remaining miles will be extended to the end of 36 months after the date your status changed or expired. (The expiration period will correspond with to your physical card.)

Important Notes
- Only flights flown with JMB mile-accumulating fares are eligible to qualify as flight counts.
- FLY ON Status benefits and JAL Global Club benefits cannot be used concurrently. The higher tier benefits will apply.
- Please be aware that service details are subject to change without prior notice.
- Members must apply for a status card to receive one. Your membership status can also be viewed on JAL Mileage Bank app or JAL app.
- Please note that the issuance of physical status cards will discontinue as of the end of January 2027.
