Connection Information
Learn about connecting from a domestic flight to another domestic flight or from a domestic flight to an international flight is explained.
The minimum connection time differs by the connecting airport and airline,please allow enough time to transit. Please refer to the following requirements.
Please be advised, however, that meeting the required minimum connecting time (hereinafter "MCT") will not necessarily guarantee the connection under the exceptional circumstances such as delays or disruption of flights.
Domestic flights ⇔ Domestic flights
Connections at the same airport
You will be able to check in for all your same-day connecting JAL group domestic flights at the departure airport for the first leg of your journey. There is no need to check in again at your connecting airports.
Please present the certification code which contains final destination information or the documents issued by airline / travel agency etc. which your reservation could be confirmed.
- Through check-in to/from non-JAL Group flights is not available. Baggage can be through checked from the departure airport to the destination.
However, fragile items such as sports equipment and musical instruments, pets, bullets, swords and baggage with Excess value charges must be picked up at the connecting airport and checked at the operating carrier's counter again.
It is expected to take more time than the estimated time below, so please allow plenty of time for use.

- There are no set connecting times for other airlines as JAL only has an Interline Traffic Agreement with those mentioned above.
There are no set connecting times for ANA flight operated by Peach Aviation (APJ), too.
Please plan accordingly so that you have enough time to connect to your next flight, and can pass through security by the time designated by the airline of your connecting flight.

Domestic flights ⇔ International flights
If you have a domestic-international transfer operated by the JAL group on the same day, you are able to check-in your international flight at your departing domestic airport.
Please make sure to check-in at the domestic counter at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure with your e-ticket number or reservation number.
If you check-in at the domestic counter, you may proceed to the international departing gate directly at the connecting airport.
