One Harmony Points can be redeemed for hotel stays and room upgrades

Notice

Due to system maintenance accompanying the revision of the One Harmony program, applications for this benefit will not be available during the period from March 23 (Monday) to April 5, 2026 (Sunday) (planned).
We expect to resume accepting applications from April 6, 2026 (Monday). We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding.

Please note that after the resumption, the exchange rate for this benefit will be changed, and 11,500 miles can be exchanged for 7,000 One Harmony points.

What are One Harmony Points?

One Harmony Points can be redeemed for a variety of awards including hotel stays, room upgrades, original hotel products and more at participating hotels of Okura Hotels & Resorts, Nikko Hotels International and Hotel JAL City.

Eligible members

  • JMB members
  • Members who have registered an e-mail address with JAL Mileage Bank
  • Members who have enrolled in One Harmony under the same name as that of their JMB account
  • Members who have registered their JMB membership number to their One Harmony account

Eligible hotels

Okura Hotels & Resorts, Nikko Hotels International and Hotel JAL City located within Japan and worldwide

  • Some hotels in the group do not participate in One Harmony.

Required mileage

Redeem 10,000 miles for 5,000 One Harmony Points.

Validity

One Harmony Points are valid until January 31 that falls 25 months after January 1 of the calendar year following the year in which the points are credited.

How to request and use awards

Step 1 Request an award

To request an award, you will need the following:

  • Your JMB membership number and Password
  • Your One Harmony membership number and password (registered under the same name as your JMB account)

On the One Harmony website

You will be redirected to the One Harmony website.

Requesting your award

  1. After being redirected to the One Harmony website, sign in to your One Harmony account using your One Harmony membership number and password.
  2. Open the "My Account & My Card" page.
  3. Click "Redeeming JAL mileage to One Harmony points" located at the bottom of the "My Account & My Card" page.
  4. The JMB login screen will be displayed. Follow the instructions to proceed.
  • Your One Harmony Points will be credited to your account in around two to three weeks. Credited One Harmony Points can be viewed on the "My Account & My Card" page after signing in on the One Harmony website.

Step 2 Redeem your One Harmony Points

Redeem your One Harmony Points for hotel stays, room upgrades and more at participating hotels of Okura Hotels & Resorts, Nikko Hotels International and Hotel JAL City throughout Japan and worldwide.

  • When booking your stay, please note that One Harmony Points are available for redemption only after they have been credited to your One Harmony account.

If you are not yet a One Harmony member

  • If you wish to request an award and will be enrolling in One Harmony, please be sure to register your JMB membership number (7 or 9 digits) during the enrollment process.

How to register your JMB membership number when enrolling in One Harmony

  1. On the One Harmony enrollment page, select "Japan Airlines" as your "Preferred Frequent Flyer Program (FFP)".
  2. Enter your JMB membership number (7 or 9 digits) in the "FFP Member Number" field.
  • Your One Harmony membership data will be cross-checked with your JMB membership data.
    This cross-check process will take around three weeks, after which your miles will be redeemed for this award.

If you wish to register or update your JMB membership number to your One Harmony account

  • To request this award, your JMB membership number must be registered to your One Harmony account.
    You can verify whether your JMB membership number has been registered to your One Harmony account by signing in on the One Harmony website and opening the “My Account & My Card” page.
    If you have not yet registered your JMB membership number to your One Harmony account, please do so before you request this award by following the steps below.

How to register or update your JMB membership number to your One Harmony account

  1. On the One Harmony website, sign in to your account using your One Harmony membership number and password.
  2. On the "My Account & My Card" page, verify that your JMB membership number is missing or incorrect.
  3. Click "Update Profile" located on the left of the "My Account & My Card" page.
  4. Select "Japan Airlines" as your "Preferred Frequent Flyer Program (FFP)" and enter your JMB membership number (7 or 9 digits) in the "FFP Member Number" field.
  5. Click the "Submit" button and then "Confirm".
  • Your updated One Harmony membership information will be cross-checked with your JMB membership information.
    This cross-check process will take around three weeks, after which you will be able to request this award.

    Rules on how to redeem points, eligible hotels and other restrictions are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Requests for the One Harmony Point Award can only be made via the JAL website.
  • JAL assumes no responsibility for lost One Harmony Points. Please note that One Harmony Points cannot be reissued for any reason.
  • Miles that have been deducted from a JMB account following a One Harmony Point Award request cannot be refunded to the original account, used in exchange for a different award, or exchanged for cash.
