Eligible customers
Customers with tickets and reservations that meet the following conditions:
- JMB Diamond, JGC Premier, JMB Sapphire, JAL Global Club, and oneworld Emerald and Sapphire status members may enter lounges free of charge. No additional fee is necessary. Please click the below link for details on companions, etc.
Ticket / Route
- JAL international ticket (ticket number starting with 131)
- Regularly scheduled international flights operated by JAL with JAL flight numbers (except those in the JL8000 range) and departing from the following airports:
- Haneda, Narita, Chubu, Honolulu, Frankfurt, Bangkok, Manila
- Customers traveling on Economy Flex fares (booking class Y) to Seoul and Guam are also eligible to purchase entry.
- Customers traveling on flight JL041 from Haneda to London are eligible for limited lounge service and do not need to purchase entry. Please see below for details.
Booking class
Economy Class (B, H, K, M, L, V, S, Q, N, O, T, Z)
- Customers traveling on certain types of fares, such as group fares (including package tours), are not eligible to purchase.
How to purchase and use
How to purchase
Entry can be purchased at the same time you book and purchase your ticket on the JAL website or afterward by going to the "Bookings" page. Please see below for details on how to request service.
- Purchasing is available until check-in (including online check-in).
- Purchasing at airport check-in counters are not available.
- Customers traveling with an award ticket, please go to the "Bookings" page to purchase.
- Purchasing is not available for flights that are booked but not yet issued tickets. Please purchase a ticket and then go to the "Bookings" page to purchase paid lounge service.
- Customers in the following categories who purchased or made changes to tickets other than on the JAL website may not purchase paid lounge service on the JAL website. Conditions other than those listed below may apply. Please contact the JAL International Contact Center if you wish to purchase paid lounge service.
- The ticket was purchased in a country other than the flight’s country of origin
Example: A ticket for a flight originating in Japan was purchased through the US JAL International Contact Center - Changes to the ticket were made in a country other than the flight’s country of origin
Example: A change to a ticket for a flight originating in the UK was made at a ticketing counter in Japan

Refunds
Once purchased, this service cannot be cancelled or refunded unless there is a change in flights.
If your ticket is refunded, the fee can also be refunded. Please contact the JAL International Contact Center.
- Refund deadline: One year and 30 days after the purchase date.
- If you purchased your ticket through a travel agency, please contact the travel agency to change your ticket or obtain a refund. However, the fee for this service cannot be refunded through a travel agency. Please contact the JAL International Contact Center.
