- Children less than 2 years old may enter free of charge.
- The number of paid entries available is limited.
Eligible customers
Customers with tickets and reservations that meet the following conditions:
- JMB Diamond, JGC Premier, JMB Sapphire, JAL Global Club, and oneworld Emerald and Sapphire status members may enter lounges free of charge. No additional fee is necessary. Please click the below link for details on companions, etc.
Ticket / Route
- JAL international ticket (ticket number starting with 131)
- JAL international flights operated by JAL (regular scheduled flights excluding JL8000 series flights) and departing from.
- Haneda, Narita, Chubu, Honolulu, Bangkok
- Customers traveling on Economy Flex fares (booking class Y) to Seoul and Guam are also eligible to purchase entry.
- Customers traveling on flight JL041 from Haneda to London are eligible for limited lounge service and do not need to purchase entry. Please see below for details.
Booking class
Economy Class (B, H, K, M, L, V, S, N, Q, O, Z, G, T)
- This service is not applicable to certain fares such as Group inclusive tour fares.
- There may be cases where the inclusive tour purchased at the travel agent is not eligible for this service.
How to purchase and use
How to purchase
Entry can be purchased at the same time you book and purchase your ticket on the JAL website or afterward by going to the "Bookings" page. Please see below for details on how to request service.
- Purchasing is available until check-in (including online check-in).
- Purchasing at airport check-in counters are not available.
- Customers traveling with an award ticket, please go to the "Bookings" page to purchase.
- Purchasing is not available for flights that are booked but not yet issued tickets. Please purchase a ticket and then go to the "Bookings" page to purchase paid lounge service.
- Customers in the following categories who purchased or made changes to tickets other than on the JAL website may not purchase paid lounge service on the JAL website. Conditions other than those listed below may apply. Please contact the JAL International Contact Center if you wish to purchase paid lounge service.
- The ticket was purchased in a country other than the flight’s country of origin
Example: A ticket for a flight originating in Japan was purchased through the US JAL International Contact Center - Changes to the ticket were made in a country other than the flight’s country of origin
Example: A change to a ticket for a flight originating in the UK was made at a ticketing counter in Japan

Refunds
After purchasing this service, if no change or refund of ticket is made, purchased EMD is non-refundable.
If you are requesting a refund for your flight ticket

For a refund of the purchased EMD, please contact the JAL Contact Center after completing the ticket refund process.

Refund for purchased EMD will be processed together with the ticket refund procedures.
- Refund deadline: within 1 year and 30 days from the EMD issue date
For customers who purchased tickets through travel agencies
For changes or refunds of tickets, please contact the travel agency where you purchased the ticket.
Since refunds for purchased EMD cannot be handled by travel agencies, please contact the JAL Contact Center for assistance.
