Handling of Hawaiian Airlines (HA) tickets and flight miles due to merger of Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines

Due to the merger of Hawaiian Airlines (HA) and Alaska Airlines (AS), all HA-operated flights were transitioned to AS-operated flights on/after April 21, 2026 (Tuesday).

Please refer to the following information regarding reservations and ticket handling.

Regarding the change of flight number and operating airline, please note that we may send notification emails to customers, however, no action is required.

1. Tickets for HA-operated codeshare flights with JAL flight numbers

Applicable tickets

HA operated Codeshare Flights (HA Prime Flights with Ticket number starting with 131)

For flights on/after April 22, 2026 (Wednesday)
(for tickets booked by October 15, 2025 (Wednesday) (Japan Time))

All reservations will be transferred to AS-operated flights.

There will be no changes to the departure date, departure time, or arrival time.

2. Flight Miles Accumulation for the revenue tickets with HA flight numbers

For flights on/until April 21, 2026 (Tuesday)

  • Mileage can be credited based on HA flight numbers and HA booking classes.
  • Mileage accrual rates chart for HA flights will apply.
  • Please check the following page for the applicable accrual rates on Hawaiian Airlines.

For flights on/after April 22, 2026 (Wednesday)

  • All flights will be transferred on AS-operated flights.
  • Mileage can be credited based on the transferred AS flight numbers and booking classes.
  • Mileage accrual rates chart for AS flights will apply.
  • Please check the following page for the applicable accrual rates on AS flights.

In all cases, Post Flight Crediting is possible within six months of the date of travel.

If the reservation is booked with JL flight numbers, JL accrual rates chart will be applied, regardless of the flight date.

3. Hawaiian Airlines Award Tickets

For new bookings

HA-operated flights on/after April 22, 2026 (Wednesday)

Reservations for this service ended on October 15, 2025 (Japan time). Starting October 16, 2025 (Japan time), please book Alaska Airlines award tickets.

For already booked tickets

For flights on/after April 22, 2026 (Wednesday)

On/after October 15, 2025 (Japan time), all flights were rebooked onto AS-operated flights. There will be no change in departure dates or departure/arrival times.
