Savor sushi freshly made
before your eyes
Sushi Tsurutei, with a stately uncoated wood counter and beautiful furnishings. Enjoy sushi of the week prepared by professional chefs, meticulously paired with sake, champagne, wine, or other seasonal beverages. Indulge in authentic tastes before departing Japan.
Lighting that is evocative of traditional lanterns gently illuminate the uncoated wooden floor and tables. Bold lacquer-paint art is eye-catching on the wall of the spacious area. The sofa seats by the window and wall have space dividers that resemble bamboo screens so that groups can relax in comfort.
A rich selection of flavorful alcoholic beverages fitting for a first class lounge, including Laurent-Perrier champagnes. The selection is prepared with the assistance of a wine-taster Motohiro Okoshi, and international sake trend creator Koichi Hasegawa (president of Hasegawasaketen).
Sushi Tsurutei serves three types of sushi, rotating on a weekly basis. Depending on the season, offerings may include tuna belly, spear squid, simmered conger eel, flounder, or red shrimp. Vegetarian rolls are also available upon request.
After enjoying sushi and sake, how about topping off with ramen? You can choose from the pork bone-based JAL Original Tonkotsu Ramen accented with spicy miso and mustard greens, or depending on the season, the yuzu citron-flavored AFURI Yuzu-Shio Ramen or Manpuku Chinese-style ramen. The wall art inspired by ramen bowls and the special solid wood counter are also notable.
An airy dining space brimming
with the fun of food
Brilliant sunlight streams through the large windows of the bright, chic dining area. Counter-style offerings freshly made by staff include the popular JAL Special Original Beef Curry. Satisfy your craving with our rich menu selection.
Counter menu options include the Meat Plate (photo) with roast beef or other, the Japanese-Style Meal Set, Salad Plate, Sandwich Plate, Pasta Plate, Dessert Plate, and more.
With a history dating back to the Taisho Era (1912–1926), Manpuku has a Chinese-style ramen made with a secret soy sauce-based soup that is comforting and toppings such as triangle-shaped thin egg omelet, spinach, and seasoned bamboo shoots. The noodles are specially-made for the lounge. This will gently warm your stomach before leaving Japan.
We await guests with an array of drinks, including MI CAFETO coffee produced by "Coffee Hunter" José Y. Kawashima, JAL’s original SKY TIME juice, and meticulously-selected alcoholic beverages such as wine and sake.
Spacious with wide aisles, JAL’s Table offers a counter-style menu with freshly-made offerings such as JAL Special Original Beef Curry that you can choose from according to mood.
An exclusive hidden playhouse
for select adults
The end destination is the RED Suite; a restful hideaway for our adult guests. RED Suite comprises four different zones for our guests to enjoy: the Library Room, the Gallery Room, the Play Room, and the Bar Room.
The Main Floor, in front of the entrance to RED Suite. The Library Room is a learning space that offers reading materials on the topics of world travel and culture, and features a small exhibition from the JAL archives, including a pilot's bag from the 1950s. It is also the home of our John Lobb shoe polishing service.
Established in 1812, the archetypal purveyor of champagnes, Laurent Perrier. We offer our guests sophisticated, balanced, and fresh world-class champagnes, and a specialist selection of sakés from the Hasegawa Saké-Ten, all served in Riedel glassware. We use different Riedel glasses for our champagnes and sakés to make your experience just that little bit more special.
We imagined a private space for people who like to travel. This private room contains a number of items and photographic images which evoke thoughts of aviation and travel, including pieces from the invaluable JAL archives and beyond. Recall the voyages of the past, and plant the seeds for new journeys ahead. A perfect opportunity to get pleasantly lost in thought.
In the Play Room, a room whose walls are decorated with world flight maps, guests will find a retro-style football table and a space for playing chess. The Play Room is a playful new concept that provides adult guests with a space to socialize over games before their flight.
A refined, Japanese-style space
with a view of the runway
The décor is evocative of traditional Japan, right down to the entrance, which resembles a folding screen. Take some time to relax in a space that stylishly marries traditional Japanese spirit with modern and refined Japanese design.
JAL’s SALON is the bar counter on the 5th floor. Staff will serve the Japanese artisanal taste of domestic craft beer, premium whiskey, craft gin, and other beverages as you watch. A selection of monthly Japanese tea curated by EN TEA and exquisite Japanese confections are also available.
The JAL First Class Lounge is located on the 4th floor of Terminal 3, with beautiful views and very convenient proximity after completing passport control. Spend time as you wish while gazing through the window that overlooks the runways as airplanes depart.
Let the folding screen with cherry blossoms in full bloom guide you to the dining area, JAL’s Table. The red glass art wall heightens culinary anticipations. The design of the folding screen hides the surprise of flying cranes, seen as you depart.
The spatial design is by Ryu Kosaka, a highly-renowned Japanese interior designer. Based on the concept of “room to room,” furnishings have a different style per area, so every guest will find a space of comfort. Guests can also see world-map inspired artwork by the Japanese calligrapher Souun Takeda.
The JAL First Class Lounge is conveniently located on the 4th and 5th floors of Terminal 3 in Haneda Airport and has superb views. In 2020, this was reborn to a more spacious and elegant space. With the concept of “room to room” with areas loosely divided, this is designed so every guest can spend time in a space that fits their mood.
