Inflight sales miles
With JAL inflight sales, select Japanese and international brands as well as JAL original items and products recommended by JAL cabin crew are available for purchase on JAL flights.
You will earn 1 mile for every JPY 100 spent when you present your JMB card, JALCARD credit card, JAL Pay screen, or JAL Pay prepaid card to the cabin crew at the time of purchase. Miles will be credited to your JMB account as inflight sales miles.
Additionally, inflight sales purchases made with a JALCARD credit card or JAL Pay are eligible to receive a 10% discount. JALCARD members will also earn double JALCARD shopping miles in addition to inflight sales miles for purchases made with their JALCARD. If you are not a JALCARD member, please take this opportunity to consider applying for a JALCARD.

How to earn miles
Please present your JMB card, JALCARD credit card, JAL Pay screen, or JAL Pay prepaid card to the cabin crew at the time of purchasing inflight sales items.
Payments made with a credit card other than a JALCARD are also eligible to earn inflight sales miles.
- If you do not present an eligible card at the time of purchase, retroactive requests for inflight sales miles will not be accepted.
Date miles are credited
After your purchase, if you buy on a domestic flight through the in-flight shopping online,your points will be credited 1 to 2 months after the item is shipped.
If you purchase on an international flight, your points will be credited within several days to about one month.
Notes
- All items listed on the inflight shopping pages in JAL SHOP, JAL's inflight shopping magazine, are eligible for earning inflight sales miles when purchased on board. Items purchased by mail or online are ineligible for earning miles.
- When traveling on codeshare flights, inflight sales miles can be earned only on flights operated by JAL. Inflight sales purchases made on codeshare flights operated by other airlines are ineligible for earning miles.
- An eligible card must be presented at the time of purchase. Retroactive requests for inflight sales miles will not be accepted.
- Payments made with JAL Coupons or other coupons are ineligible for earning miles.
- For purchases made with a JALCARD or JAL Pay, the miles earned will be based on the actual purchase price after applying the 10% discount.
