December 2, 2024 (Monday) 10 a.m. - January 31, 2025 (Friday) 11:59 p.m. (Japan time)
How to select a service:
Application must be made via the JAL website. Application by telephone cannot be accepted.
If you select JAL Shopping Points, please log in to JAL Mall by January 31, 2025.
Login here (available in Japanese only)- If no selections are made during the above application period, e JAL Points will be selected for members in Japan and JAL Coupons will be selected for members in country/regions other than Japan.
- For customers who were eligible for Service Selection in the previous service year:
Your selection for the previous service year will not be carried over to this service year. Please apply for a service again for this service year. - After the end of the application period, you can view your selected service from late February, 2025 until March 31, 2025. Please log in to your account, navigate to the Mileage tab, and check your JMB Messages displayed under your name (or click the bell mark displayed on the upper right of your screen after account login if you are a member living outside of Japan).
- JAL Shopping Points are available only to JMB members living in Japan.
[JAL Selection] e JAL Points
e JAL Points are electronic points which can be used to purchase domestic and international tickets as well as domestic and overseas tours on the JAL website.

Partner Status
This premium service is for your partner. The same services enjoyed by you will be offered to your spouse, such as access to top class lounges, use of the JAL Fast Security Lane, Priority Boarding and Mile-Up Bonus. Even if you are not traveling, your spouse will be extended the same warm welcome onboard.
A "partner" can be a spouse, same-sex partner, or a family member registered with the JALCARD Family Program or JAL Family Club. Please note that you may be requested to submit proof that you share the same residential address or proof of relationship if you and your selected partner have different last names.

JAL Shopping Points (available to members living in Japan)
JAL Shopping Points can be used as payment for JAL Mall purchases and JAL Furusato Nozei.
Your miles can be redeemed for JAL Shopping Points, which can then be used to purchase a variety of products, including JAL original products.

SMART GIFT (Points-based gift catalog)
You can get points that can be exchanged for inn accommodation, meal tickets, gift tickets, home appliances , etc. listed on the Ringbell Smart Gift website. Please click "Gift Details" below for more details. (You will be transferred to Ringbell's official website.)
The gifts must be exchanged within six months after the date the gift card is sent by e-mail.
The gifts exchanged with the points cannot be shipped to regions outside Japan with some exceptions.

- Ringbell Co., Ltd will provide this service with behalf of JMB.
- Your personal information registered on JMB will be provided to Ringbell in order to issue the gift card number and PIN needed to submit your request on Ringbell's website.
- A special office will open.
- If this service is selected, the gift card will be sent by email in late March 2025.
Gift Selection
You can select the gift of your choice from the gift list on our website for a family member or friend. Gift can be selected from the gift list corresponding to your member status. Please click "Gift Details" below for more details. (You will be transferred to official website of Daimaru Matsuzakaya Department Stores.)
JMB Diamond members can select one item from Option A or 2 items from Option B. JGC Premier members can select one item from Option B.
Applications for the gifts will be accepted from 10 a.m. of March 1 through 23:59 p.m. of June 30, 2025 (Japan time).
