Crediting bonus FLY ON Points (for 2021) to members with FLY ON status for the 2021 service year (Last Updated Dec 9, 2020)

In response to the Coronavirus outbreak, we have suspended or reduced services on some JAL Group routes. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
We understand that the still unpredictable Coronavirus situation may result in fewer opportunities for our customers to qualify for FLY ON status in 2021. To help ensure that our FLY ON status members - who are our most frequent flyers - can continue to enjoy our special services and benefits in 2021 and beyond, we will be crediting bonus FLY ON Points for 2021 based on each customer's FLY ON status.
Eligible members
JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) members with FLY ON status for the 2021 service year (until March 31, 2022)
- You do not need to register to receive these bonus FLY ON Points.
- Members whose FLY ON status has been extended until the end of the 2021 service year (until March 31, 2022) as a special measure in response to the Coronavirus situation are also eligible to receive these bonus FLY ON Points.
- Members who qualify for FLY ON status for the 2022 service year (until March 31, 2023) based on flight activity in/after January 2021 are ineligible to receive these bonus FLY ON Points.
Outline of the bonus FLY ON Points credited
Bonus FLY ON Points for 2021 will be credited as follows in accordance with your FLY ON status for the 2021 service year.
The bonus FLY ON Points will be credited by around mid February, based on your actual FLY ON status for the 2021 service year as of January 7, 2021.
- If you qualify for FLY ON status for the 2021 service year on/after January 8, 2021 due to earning miles from post-flight credit or from flying on partner airlines' flights, you will be credited with the relevant bonus FLY ON Points at the end of the month following the month of qualifying for FLY ON status.
If you are credited with bonus FLY ON Points and then qualify for a higher FLY ON status, you will receive the FLY ON Points corresponding to your new FLY ON status, credited as the difference in FLY ON Points between your old and new FLY ON status levels. - Bonus FLY ON Points will be credited as FLY ON Points earned for traveling on JAL Group flights.

Notes
- Bonus FLY ON Points will be credited only to members with an eligible FLY ON status as of the time the points are credited. Please note that members who have qualified for JGC Premier status for the 2021 service year but who have withdrawn from JAL Global Club as of the time the points are credited will receive the bonus FLY ON Points corresponding to JMB Sapphire status.
- Members who qualify for FLY ON status for the 2021 service year on/after July 1, 2021 due to requesting post-flight credit for flights traveled in 2020 or joining JAL Global Club are ineligible to receive these bonus FLY ON Points.
