The socket can accept the following plug types.

2-pin European plug

plug 2-pin US plug (Japan)

3-pin US plug

Only the 3 plug types above can be used.
Note that it may not be possible to use adapters of all sizes and shapes, or those with worn or damaged pins.

(However, electrical power capacity for business class center column seats of Boeing 777 aircrafts will be up to 50W.)
