​Introducing a new menu choice in addition to the current Japanese and Western meal choices.
The express meal allows you to quickly enjoy a delicious meal and go straight on to your after meal inflight experience.
Advance reservation is required, so please make a reservation at least 25 hours (local time) before the departure of your international flight.

Offered on flights departing between March 1, 2026 and August 31, 2026

"Unagi Gozen" features the grilled eel from the fifth-generation Noda-ura, based at its main store in Azabu Iikura.  

Please enjoy the carefully prepared kabayaki of domestically farmed eel served on board.

We will be offering an express meal instead of a course menu.

How to make a reservation

Visit the JAL website and click the "Service Selection (Seat,Meal)" button for your flight on the Booking Details screen.
Meals may be ordered on the "Optional service" screen when booking a new ticket.

Reservation deadlines

25 hours prior to international flight departure (local time)

Note

  • Please contact reservations if you can not order special inflight meals on JAL Web site.
  • Please make order after you have confirmed schedule changes.
  • The inflight meal reservation service is not available on the following situations :
    ・For some fares, such as group travel fares (Some package tours purchased through travel agencies may not be eligible.)
    ・The booked flight has been canceled
    ・The passnger has booked codeshare flights operated by JAL but bearing a flight number of another airline.
    ・Flights in waitlist
  • The number of inflight meals that can be reserved is limited.
  • As it is subject to advance reservation, it cannot be ordered on board.
