Japan Airlines and American Airlines Pacific Joint Business
The joint business between JAL and American Airlines offers customers more destinations across the Pacific through American Airlines' extensive network in the United States, the Caribbean, Central and South America. Customers can earn and redeem miles on both JAL and American Airlines' eligible flights and experience seamless travel comfort at premium lounges in various airports.
Network
American Airlines operates flights from major hubs such as Dallas-Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York to over 200 domestic cities throughout the United States.
- Asian routes (except for India), domestic routes in Japan and in the US, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands that connect to the above routes are also included in these JB routes.
New Service between Tokyo Haneda (HND) and New York (JFK), starting June 28, 2024!
American Airlines will soon commence daily flights between Tokyo Haneda (HND) and New York (JFK) from June 28, 2024.
As the only U.S. airline operating between Tokyo and New York (as of March 2024), American Airlines' new nonstop service on this route, in addition to JAL's the existing double daily flights, will offer customers more flight options to choose from. The added frequency will also enhance connectivity to various U.S. domestic, Central and South America destinations via New York.
