- This form is in both Japanese and English.
- Refunds will be processed for the entire flight itinerary and not for flight segments.
Refunds for the entire flight itinerary will be provided if you wish to cancel your trip due to a delay or cancellation of a JAL Group flight.
Please fly the entire itinerary before requesting refunds due to class changes resulting from flight cancellations or aircraft changes. - If you have purchased JAL Overseas Travel Insurance, please complete the cancellation procedure on the inquiry site for Zurich Insurance travel insurance after your ticket refund has been processed.
- In case of refunds for personal reasons for flights using international award tickets, please contact the JAL International Contact Center.
- If you have already flown part of your itinerary, you can use this form to request a refund for taxes and fees for unflown segments only.
- A handling fee will be charged in accordance with the fare rules.
This form can be used for refunds without incurring handling fees for the following cases:
- Changes in flight schedules or cancellations of your booked flight
- Inability to travel due to illness or injury (medical certificate required)
- Customers who have obtained an application number from the Contact Center
- The refunds from the credit card company may take two months as it depends on the refund date, the billing cycle of the credit card company, and the time taken to process the refund.
