We will respond as quickly as possible in the event of delays, flight cancellations or other contingencies.
If flights are unavoidably delayed, cancelled or have their route changed on the day of departure , due to circumstances such as adverse weather conditions, we will make information available on the JAL website and at customer contact centers, in addition to providing information at the airport.

Cases when the passenger would need to pay their own expenses | When the delay or cancellation is caused by something within our control but is decided before the day of departure. When the delay or cancellation is caused by unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather, natural disasters, airport closures or Take-off/landing restrictions ordered by air traffic control authorities. |
For accommodation and transportation expenses incurred due to delays and cancellations on the day of departure, we will reimburse amounts up to our prescribed limits based on the amount shown on an official receipt.
