Important Notice: Enhanced Entry and Quarantine Measures for India

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of India has announced the strengthening of border controls and quarantine measures for travelers entering or transiting through India.

1. For All Passengers Bound for India

All international arrivals to India, regardless of nationality, are required to submit a "Self Declaration Form" upon arrival.

From June 26 (local time), the Self-Declaration Format has been digitized.

Please complete and submit the ‘Air Suvidha Self Declaration Form’ prior to your arrival.

  • Applications can be submitted starting 36 hours before arrival in India via the designated website below.
  • It is highly recommended to complete your application prior to boarding.
  • During the application process, you will be required to register your mobile phone number and email address, and verify a 6-digit One-Time Password.
  • Please make sure to submit while connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
  • After completing your application, please save the issued PDF to your device or print it out.
    Passengers may be required to present it upon arrival in India.

2. Travelers Subject to Enhanced Quarantine Measures

These measures apply to all passengers arriving from or transiting through the followin Air Suvidha Self Declaration Form Webpage countries where Ebola cases have been reported.

  • Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)
  • Uganda
  • South Sudan

(Subject to change based on the pandemic situation.)

3. Quarantine Requirements Upon Arrival

Applicable travelers subject to the above enhanced quarantine measures are required to follow these procedures:

1. Duty to Declare Health Status

If you have symptoms (fever, headache, muscle pain, etc.) or had potential contact with an infected person's bodily fluids, you must report to the Airport Health Officer/Health desk immediately before immigration.

2. 21-Day Health Monitoring

Even if symptom-free, you must monitor your health for 21 days post-arrival. 

If symptoms appear, seek medical care immediately and inform healthcare authorities about  your travel history.
