JAL will serve Halal Meal certificated*1 by Japan Islamic Trust*2 at JAL First Class Lounge and Sakura Lounge in Narita International Airport, starting from November 1, 2019.

Note
- Halal Certification is recognition that the meals for Muslims are made and approved according to Islamic laws and rules.
- Japan Islamic Trust is religious corporation registered in Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Japan Islamic Trust has begun issuing halal certificates since 1997. It was approved as a certifying entity in Japan by halal certifying entities in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Thailand.
Once other JAL Lounge locations such as in Haneda International Airport is ready to serve Halal meal, JAL will make another notice.
JAL will be striving to serve customers with delicious meals which are only available in lounge and provide customers with a pleasant and comfortable travel experience.
