Promotion outline

Fly on Chicago routes using JAL International Upgrade Awards during the promotion period and earn 8,000 miles when you upgrade to JAL Business Class on JL009 (Chicago to Tokyo Haneda).

Bonus miles will be credited until around April, 2026.

No registration is required—you are automatically enrolled in this promotion.
This promotion does not apply to airport-paid upgrades and JAL International Upgrade Award at the airport.
Travel on award tickets does not qualify for this promotion.

Eligible members

JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) members in all regions

Eligible upgrade

Upgrade to JAL Business Class Mile-Back: 8,000 miles

from Chicago to Tokyo (Haneda) JL009 only

Notes

To be eligible for bonus miles, the JMB flight miles for the eligible flight must be successfully credited to your account.
Please note that this promotion may be discontinued or modified or the promotion period may be changed without advance notice due to natural disasters, infectious diseases, or other unavoidable circumstances.
Flights/classes of service that were not traveled, including due to flight cancellations or aircraft changes, are ineligible for earning miles.
Bonus miles are not eligible for FLY ON Points.
