- Passengers who are 15 years of age or over (we are not allowed to assign emergency exit seats to passengers under the age of 15)
- Passengers who do not require assistance from a companion or staff member when boarding
- Passengers who are capable of assisting in an emergency evacuation, e.g., by closing or opening an aircraft door
- Passengers who are able to understand evacuation procedures and crew members' instructions, and verbally convey such information to other passengers
- Passengers who are not required to assist an accompanying passenger in an emergency evacuation*
- Passengers who consent to providing assistance in the event of an emergency evacuation
Passengers who do not satisfy 1 to 6 above and who have completed advance seat selection will be requested to change to other seats.
In the unlikely event of an emergency evacuation, passengers seated in emergency exit rows will be requested to provide assistance under instructions from the cabin crew.
In addition, passengers seated in these seats may not place baggage at their feet or on their lap during takeoff and landing. Your understanding and cooperation is highly appreciated.
- Passengers accompanied by small children (under 8 on domestic flights or under 12 on international flights) may not sit in emergency exit row seats.
