Available Services

At Booking

Seat selection

  • * Seat selection is available up until 15 minutes prior to the departure time (except for some flights).
  • * Restrictions apply for some fare types and the number of seats available for pre-selection is limited.
  • * Pre-selected seats are subject to change without prior notice in case there is a change in the aircraft.
  • * Due to safety concerns, passengers using the Expectant Mother Travel Support Service and pregnant passengers having an expected date of delivery up to 28 days after the flight date cannot be seated in an emergency exit row. JAL also recommends seating on the main deck on aircraft having upper deck.

At Departing Airport

Priority Boarding

During boarding, you will have priority to get on board.

Eligibility

The service is available for pregnant passengers.

For the pregnant passengers whose expected date of child delivery is less than 28days (*) after the date of travel, please read the following.

Items required for the flight:

  • Medical Information Form (MEDIF) must be submitted.

<Expected date of delivery within 7 days from the date of travel>

  • In addition to the Medical Information Form (MEDIF), an escort by a doctor is required.
  • * The Medical Information Form (MEDIF) must be filled in no earlier than 7 days prior to the date of travel.

At the departing airport

Please check-in at JAL Smile Support Counter (*) at the departing airport. Please allow ample time for the check-in.
