If you forget to bring your ticket to the airport but remember where it is, please proceed with the following steps.
If you do NOT know where your ticket is, please see “Lost Your Ticket?”.
Tickets can be purchased at any JAL Group city or airport domestic ticket counter.
Please apply for a refund for the replacement ticket at a later date. You will need both the original ticket and the Replacement Ticket Receipt to complete the procedure.
Any JAL Group city or airport domestic ticket counter, ticket assistance services or where you purchased the original ticket
The refundable period is 100 days from the date of issue of the original ticket. However, if the
ticket validity of the original ticket exceeds 90 days from the date of issue, the effective refund period for the ticket will apply.
As we will regard you as having boarded the flight with the original ticket, the amount paid for the replacement ticket will be refunded. However, should the fare for the replacement ticket differ from that of the original (i.e. lost) ticket or should you board a flight not covered by the original ticket, the amount paid for the original ticket will be refunded.
Please receive a Replacement Ticket Receipt at any JAL Group city or airport domestic ticket counter, ticket assistance service desk or where you originally purchased the ticket. The Replacement Ticket Receipt will be necessary when boarding your flight.
If official documentation cannot be provided when traveling on fares which require proof of identification, the passenger will be required to purchase a replacement ticket in the same way as if the ticket had been forgotten in order to travel the itinerary.
