How to use (arrival at the airport - high-speed ferry - taxi)

  • A provisional reservation will be made upon booking. If your reservation cannot be confirmed, Tsu Airport Line Co., Ltd. will notify you by email within 24 hours.
  • To ride in the same taxi as your group, please book all group members' tickets using the same account.
  • Taxi capacity: up to 8 passengers.
  • Sales may end without prior notice once the fixed number is reached.

How to ride a taxi

  • Drop-off points in Ise/Toba : You can get off at any location within in the city. Please inform the driver directly. For Shima, drop-off locations are limited to Ugata Station and Kashikojima Station.
  • Drop-off points in Matsusaka/Shima and Taxi Stands for Departures from Matsusaka / Ise / Toba / Shima: Delivery locations vary by area.

"Traditional Ise Jingu Pilgrimage" Course

From ancient times, worshippers to the Ise Jingu first purified themselves at Futamiura, and then visited Geku and Naiku of Ise Jingu in that order. "If you go to Ise, you must visit to Asakuma. If you don't, the pilgrimage is not accomplished." As sung in the Ise Ondo songs, it was customary to pay a visit to Kongoshoji Temple after visiting these. How about visiting Ise Jingu in the traditional order?

1 Futami Okitama Shrine (Meoto-iwa rocks)

This shrine worship a sacred rock 700 meters offshore from Meoto-iwa rocks, which is related to the great god Sarutahiko. It is blessed for matchmaking, a harmonious marriage, traffic safety, and the exorcism of bad luck. 

2 Ise Jingu / Geku (Toyoukedaijingu)

Toyoke-no-Omikami is enshrined here, who blesses us with abundant harvests and is the guardian of well-being, providing three essentials of human life: cloth, food and shelter.

3 Ise Jingu /Naiku (Kotaijingu)

This is the most venerable sanctuary in Japan and dedicated to Amaterasu-Omikami, the ancestral kami (Shinto deity) of the Imperial family. She was enshrined in Naiku about 2,000 years ago and has been revered as a guardian of Japan.

4 Asamadake Kongoshoji Temple

This Buddhist temple is located near the summit of Asamayama overlooking the town of Ise. Traditionally, pilgrims paid visits to this temple on their way to Ise Jingu. The main temple building is a National Important Cultural Property. 

5 Post in the sky (Tenkoku no Post)

This is very popular on SNS! Located at the Ise-Shima Skyline Observation Deck, it actually collects letters.

1 Toba Aquarium

Here are more than 1200 species, which is the most numerous in Japan. It is the only aquarium in Japan where you can see Dugong and two sea otters.

2 Mikimoto Pearl Island

This is the island where Kokichi Mikimoto succeeded in pearl cultivation for the first time in the world. There is a museum and a store selling beautiful pearl crafts.
Visitors can also enjoy a demonstration where they can watch ama divers dive into the sea.

3 The Toba Castle Ruins and Shiroyama Park. 

This park is located on a 40 meters hill. It was the remain of Toba Castle, which no longer exists. A panoramic view of Toba Bay can be enjoyed from the park, which is also a popular cherry blossom viewing spot in spring.
