What is a Password?
A password is a string of at least 8 characters required to log into the JAL website, complete various procedures, and redeem miles.
- From July 4, 2024, your 6 digit PIN cannot be used to access your account, with the exception of use as your telephone password. Please reset your password to comply with the new policy.
Password Rules
Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least two of the following character types: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
Examples:
Acceptable: "Jmb_2015", "Jmb20150"
Not Acceptable: "123123123", "abcabcabc" (Registration failed: Must contain at least two types of characters.)
Allowed character types: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

A one-time password is required to complete the process.
