Changes and Cancellations after applying

  • Dates, passengers, departure/arrival points and number of sectors, etc. cannot be changed after completing the application.
  • You cannot reapply if your application is canceled after being submitted.
  • Cancellations are accepted via the JAL site until 2 days before departure*.
  • If there are less than 2 days before the departure of your Win a Trip with JAL flight, the process is the same as for JMB members-only domestic flight reservations.

On the day at the departure airport

  • On the day of departure at the departure airport, changes are allowed at the check-in counter only if there are available seats on an earlier flight operated by the JAL Group on the same segment.
  • Changes cannot be made at self-service check-in/ticket machines (KIOSK).
  • Please complete the procedure 20 minutes before departure of the new flight.
  • You can pay for an upgrade on the day of departure at the departure airport to travel in First Class or Class J if there are seats available.
