Inquiries Regarding Incorrect Translations and Summaries of Email Services

Recently, there are an increasing number of inquiries from customers regarding emails from JAL that are incorrectly translated or summarized due to email service functions using AI. Please check the setting of your email service and also check the reservation details and flight status on the JAL website.

 

The following is an example.

  • The reservation details for a domestic flight in Japan are incorrectly translated as an international flight. The name of the arriving airport is not in Japan but an airport in another country.
  • Online check-in information for an international flight is incorrectly summarized as a flight cancellation.
