Passengers requiring airport check in
Checking in at the self-service kiosk or the airport check in counter.
Eligible passengers
Passengers who need to check in at the self-service kiosk
- Passengers who have not selected seats
- Passengers connecting to international flights
Passengers who need to check in at the check in counter
- Passengers traveling on a codeshare flight are required to check in at the operating carrier’s check in counter
- Passengers who need assistance
- Passengers who purchased a fare that requires the presentation of supporting documents
- Passengers who would like to check in with a ticket issued by another carrier
Authentication code is required for the procedures
Please have one of the following items ready for each guest. The services available differ between JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) members and non-members.
Please check the information below and prepare one authentication code per person.

- IC-enabled JMB/JAL Card*
- two-dimensional barcode (e-ticket itinerary/receipt)
- Ticket Number
- JAL IC-enabled mobile*
- If you have already registered your JMB frequent flyer number prior to purchase
Non-members
- two-dimensional barcode (e-ticket itinerary/receipt)
- Ticket Number
- If you use the self-service check in kiosk, you may also use your passport to complete the check in process.
After check in
After checking in, please proceed to the security checkpoint.
Passengers are required to clear security screening at least 20 minutes before departure and reach the boarding gate at least 10 minutes before departure.
Please show it at either the security checkpoint or the boarding gate.
