Ticketing Service Fee for International Ticket

Effective from 01APR2009, the Japan Airlines Group has implemented a ticketing service fee for International Ticket transactions carried out at Japan Airlines Reservations Centers or Ticketing / Airport Counters in Japan.

■Precautions

• Ticketing Service Fee applies per ticket. However when separate tickets are purchased at the same time as a series of journey, it is counted as one set and one Ticketing Service Fee applies in total.
• No child discount applies.
• Ticketing Service Fee is not refundable.
• Ticketing Service Fee applies to purchase of fares and itinerary which are not available on JAL Website and which must be processed and issued through JAL Reservation Center or Ticketing Counters.

■Precautions

• Exchange or Reissue of tickets necessitated by change of Fare/Tax/Charge (including change of Tax/Charge only) or rerouting.

  Ex 1) Change of travel date of Inbound Flight to 10NOV in Japan

  Ticket reissue for fare adjustment is required due to the date change.
  Ticketing Service Fee applies.

  [In case of JAL Economy Saver Fare Ticket]
  Ticket reissue for fare adjustment is required due to the date change.
  Ticketing Service Fee applies.Change Fee regulated by fare rule also applies.

  Ex 2) Change Inbound itinerary in Japan

  Regardless of with or without Fare/Tax/Charge difference, ticket reissue is required due to route change.
  Ticketing Service Fee applies.

  Ex 3) Change of travel date of Inbound Japan Domestic Flight to 27NOV in Japan
  

  [In case of Normal Fare Ticket]
  Ticket reissue is required to collect Japan Consumption Tax for Japan Domestic Sector to stay in Tokyo for more than 24hrs.
  Ticketing Service Fee applies.

• No child discount applies.
• Ticketing Service Fee applies to Exchange or Reissue of tickets in addition to any rebooking fee required by fare rule of the ticket.
• Ticketing Service Fee is not refundable.
• Ticketing Service Fee applies to Exchange from MCO (Miscellaneous Charges Order) / EMD (Electronic Miscellaneous Document) to MCO / EMD for validity extension.
• Ticketing Service Fee applies to a Reissue which is not applicable to transaction on JAL Website.
