
- Only 1 airline is eligible for 1 award travel.
- Some flight sectors may not be eligible. Please refer to the chart in "Required mileage" for each award.
- Codeshare flights are not eligible, in general condition.
- Non eligible flights and routes are subject to change without prior notice.
- Upgrade awards are not available.

There are 2 kinds of awards such as zone scheme award and distance scheme award in Partner Airlines Award Tickets.
For distance scheme awards, the required mileage is determined based on the distance of total award itinerary
(total of sector mileage for each sector). For details, please refer to the contents of each partner airline.
- For zone scheme awards, one-way trip is not permitted.
- For distance scheme awards, one-way use of return award is not permitted.
- Awards issued for children and infants require the same mileage as those issued for adults.
- * The total required mileage may vary according to the combination of airline and type of award.
Applicable combination of award is subject to the award seat availability of each airline or flight at the time of making award booking, therefore, the combination of award with lowest required mileage may not be guaranteed.
The combination of award with lower required mileage may be available later along with the change of inventory conditions.
However, the request of the redeemed awards to change into other awards will be treated as new award redemption, and "Mileage Reinstatement Service" with applicable charges will apply.

- Award booking will be accepted starting no earlier than 10:00 am (Japan Time) 330 days prior to date of departure and no later than 12:00 noon 4 days (not including the day of departure) prior to departure.
Award booking must be made by telephone through
JMB international award reservation desk/JMB center of your region.Award booking cannot be requested through JAL website.
- * Depending on partner airlines, award bookings may be accepted within 330 days prior to the date of departure.
- * Awards for partner airlines must be requested after bookings for all the flights in the itinerary are accepted.
- Partner Airlines Award Tickets cannot be requested through JAL' s web site.
Award tickets have to be issued within certain ticketing deadline specified by MU for new application received up to 31March2010. For new application received on/after 1April2010, deadline of award booking is accepted up to no later than 12:00 noon 4 days(not including the day of departure) prior to departure.
When award bookings/applications are made and ticketing cannot be completed for any reason, such award application will not be accepted.
- Procedure are same as for “JAL Group Airlines International Award Tickets”.
- All flights must be confirmed in order to issue an award. Award tickets for open itineraries cannot be issued.
- Waitlists and advance seat selections are not permitted.
- Please note JMB partner airlines rule for unaccompanied minor(s) under 15 years of age.

Itineraries
- Itinerary via ”Point of origin” is not permitted.
- Itinerary via ”Country of origin” is not permitted.
- Other conditions will apply. For details, please refer to the contents of each partner airline.
Class of service
All travel should be in the same class of service.
When different classes of service are involved in 1 round-trip journey, the award level of the higher class will apply.
Upgrading of awards
Award tickets cannot be upgraded by paying the fare differential.

The award ticket will be valid for 1 year from the date the mileage is deducted. (the date the ticket is issued.)
The commencement of the last flight sector must not exceed the award ticket validity.
- * For LAN Awards, when the award itinerary is wholly within domestic (Chilean, Peruvian or Argentinean), the validity of the ticket is 6 months from the date the mileage is deducted (the date the ticket is issued).
- * For MX Awards, when the award itinerary is wholly within Mexicana Airlines domestic, the validity of the ticket is 90days
from the date the mileage is deducted (the date the ticket is issued).

<Permitted>
Date changes are permitted within the validity of the award ticket provided the ticket is totally unused and an application is made to the JMB International Award Reservations Desk of your membership registration during office hours 3 days (for paper tickets, 7 days) prior to the reserved departure date or the new departure date of the first segment (whichever is earlier).

After the above deadline, including after the departure date of the first segment, no changes (such as flight, date, airline, passenger name, segment, routing or class of service) are permitted.
In case of changes, e-tickets must be re-issued or re-validated and paper tickets must be re-issued.
- * For British Airways award tickets, before award travel begins, changes from off-peak to peak
travel (requiring an additional deduction of mileage) or changes from peak to off-peak travel (resulting in the need
to have mileage reinstated) will involve the Mileage Reinstatement Service. At this point, it shall be treated as a new
award request. It is allowed only before start of the travel.
