When purchasing gift tickets, please inform the passenger of the order number. The passenger can collect his/her boarding pass at the airport ticket counter on the day of departure in exchange for the order number.

| Ticket refunds |
Refund application must be made within the effective refundable period.
- When purchasing by Credit Card
The refundable amount will be returned to the credit card used to purchase the ticket.
- When purchasing by Cash at Convenience Stores
The refundable amount will be returned into the designated bank account. (For non-JMB Members, please provide the order number.) To complete the necessary procedures, please contact JAL Domestic Reservations.
- * Any bank charges must be paid by the passenger.
- * Remittance cannot be made into JP Bank accounts.
- * Upon receipt of application, the refund will be remitted into the specified bank account within 5 business days (excluding Saturday, Sunday, public holidays, year end and the new year).*
- (*)This indicates a normal transfer term. At times such as bank system dysfunction or disorder of large scale flight operation, we are unable to process within this time.
- * Remittance can only be done into a bank account within Japan.

It is imperative not to lose or misplace the order number. Without it, reservation changes, boarding pass collections, and ticket refunds will not be possible. If the order number is not recorded at the time of purchase or forgotten, even JAL Domestic Reservations will not be able to retrieve the number at a later time.
If the order number cannot be presented on the day of departure, the passenger cannot collect the boarding pass and will be requested to purchase a new ticket at the airport.
