Reservation change and refund due to flight disruption
You will find on this page how your reservation and ticket will be handled when your flight is expected or has been confirmed a delay or cancellation affected by severe weather conditions or aircraft maintenance reasons.
Check the operation status of your flight
Please search the operation status of your flight at Arrivals & Departures or Flight Delay/Cancellation Information page, and check if an asterisk (*) mark is shown for your flight.
If asterisk (*) mark is shown for your flight, you can request to change or refund your ticket.
We will not charge any handling fees for the change or refund.
You are required to complete the change or refund by the time provided below, and provide your authentication code (such as JMB membership number, Reservation Number), or e-ticket itinerary/receipt for the change or refund.

If your domestic flight sectors are part of an international flight ticket, or you are holding a Japan Explorer Pass ticket or oneworld Visit Japan ticket, please contact us for reservation change or refund.
Tickets purchased through a tour operator or travel agent (not JAL website)Show
If you purchased the tickets through a tour operator, travel agent or on another travel site, please contact them directly.
You may also change to other alternative JAL flight departing within 3 days (including the rebooking date) on JAL website.
Select the "Rebook" button below to proceed to the domestic flight reservation page, specify "One-Way Fare" in "Fare option" and rebook an alternative flight of the same flight sector and class of service as your original ticket. Take note of the Flight Number and the 6-digit Reservation Number displayed on the Booking Completed page (Please do not purchase the ticket). Call us or approach to the airport counter on the departure day for further procedures.

Reservation change and refund
You may select your preferred option according to the status of your flight. Handlings differ depending on the reason for the flight disruption.
- *Change is permitted ONCE only for fares that do not permit reservation change. (e.g. SAKITOKU, TOKUBIN, etc.)

We will provide compensation, within the levels determined by Japan Airlines, for your expenses (such as transport and accommodation) incurred due to the disruption.
For passengers holding domestic ticket issued before November 15, 2017
If any of the followings applied to you, please contact JAL call center (Domestic Reservation and Information) for the change or refund.
You have ever changed your ticket before November 15, 2017 due to flight disruption.
- *Please note Refund Charge and Cancellation Charge will apply to online refund on JAL website.
- One flight sector of the your Round-Trip Fare/JAL Business KIPPU/JMB Companion Fare tickets (fares requiring at least 2 sectors for ticketing) has been refunded.
