IMPORTANT NOTICE for all passengers booking or purchasing tickets online.

Credit Card Purchase

1. The following types of credit cards are accepted:

   JALCARD, Visa, MasterCard, JCB, UC, DC, Diners Club, American Express, UFJ, NICOS, Orico, Cedyna, OMC, Central Finance, Saison, Aeon, Tokyu Top, TS Cubic, Aplus Card, JACCS and other cards accepted by your travel agent.

   

2. Credit card purchase is available for credit card holders and their companions. The credit card used for ticket payment must be presented when collecting boarding passes at the airport on the day of travel.
   If credit card authentication, either by security code or credit card issuer's authentication service, had been processed at the time of payment, there is no need to present the credit card used for ticket purchase. Just have the reservation or order number ready at the airport on the day of departure. When a person other than the traveler has made the purchase, please refer to Gift purchases by credit card for more details.
3. If credit card authentication was not processed at the time of purchase and the credit card used for purchase cannot be presented on the day of departure, boarding passes cannot be issued. In such a case, passenger will be required to purchase a new ticket within the applicable One-Way Fare, Child Fare, and Discount for the Disabled at the airport.
   The new ticket purchased at the airport is refundable after the travel through JAL domestic ticket counter (city/airport). All refunds will be made by bank transfer. Please be advised that all tickets will be subject to a Refund Charge and any bank charges incurred must be paid by the passenger.
4. The service is available from the sale commencement date of the ticket’s first sector until the day of travel. When using the service on the day of travel, please ensure you have sufficient time before the flight’s scheduled departure time. For fare types with a specific purchase deadline, the service is available until the ticket’s purchase deadline.
5. Once the procedure for Credit Card Purchase is completed, the credit transaction will take place.
6. There is no additional charge, such as a handling fee or a registration charge, to the total amount purchased by credit card.
7. If your credit card is, for any reason, rejected by the credit card company, the Credit Card Purchase will not be available, unless a different credit card can be used instead.
8. Please ensure that all information provided is correct and do not make an illegal purchase. Compensation may be requested for any damages cause.
9. For tickets purchased by credit card, cancellation of flights is available online. For a ticket refund, the passenger must apply during the ticket’s effective refundable period. A Cancellation Charge per ticket will be incurred for flight cancellation after ticket purchase. In addition, cancellations are subject to a Refund Charge of ¥420 per ticket.

Convenience Store Payment

1. Print out a payment form at a convenience store
   1. Applicable convenience stores:
      LAWSON, Seven-Eleven, Circle K Sunkus, MINISTOP, Family Mart*.
      • * Available only at stores with a multimedia terminal with a payment form printing facility(Famiport).
   2. The service is available until the day of travel, or if applicable, until the purchase deadline specified by the fare type if any applies.
   3. To complete the payment transaction, please present your payment form at the cash register within 30 minutes.
   4. Please follow the instructions when collecting boarding passes.
      1. JMB Members
         If a JMB card or a JALCARD number has been recorded to a multimedia terminal during the process at a convenience store, please present the JMB card or the JALCARD at a JAL ticket counter.
      2. Non-JMB Members
         If a flight number, date, name and reservation number was entered to a multimedia terminal during the process at a convenience store, please have your order number available at a JAL ticket counter.
2. A Cancellation Charge per ticket will be incurred for flight cancellation after ticket purchase. In addition, cancellations are subject to a Refund Charge of ¥420 per ticket. For more information on Fare Regulations, please see List of Fares.
3. Refund application must be made within the effective refundable period.
   The refundable amount will be returned into the bank account in the passenger’s name. (To refund the amount into an account of a person other than the passenger, please provide the order number.) To complete the necessary procedures, please contact JAL Domestic Reservations.
   • Any bank charges must be paid by the passenger.
   • Remittance cannot be made into JP Bank accounts.
   Upon receipt of application, the refund will be remitted into the specified bank account within 5 business days (excluding Saturday, Sunday, public holidays, year end and the new year).(*)
   • * This indicates a normal transfer term. At times such as bank system disfunction or disorder of large scale flight operation, we are unable to process within this time.
   • Remittance can only be done into a bank account within Japan.
4. If the JMB card, JALCARD used or the order number cannot be presented on the day of travel, the boarding pass cannot be collected. In such a case, passenger will be required to purchase a new ticket within the applicable One-Way Fare, Child Fare, and Discount for the Disabled at the airport.
   The new ticket purchased at the airport is refundable after the travel through JAL domestic ticket counter (city/airport). All refunds will be made by bank transfer. Please be advised that all tickets are subject to a Refund Charge , and any bank charges incurred must be paid by the passenger.
