How can I transit from Osaka to a domestic flight?

How can I transit from Osaka to a domestic flight?

If Kansai International Airport is a stopover before your domestic flight, here’s a quick guide on how to transit to your domestic flight:

Arrivals for international flights are on the first floor of Terminal Building 1—except for some flights which arrive in Terminal 2 Building. Domestic flight departures are on the second floor of Terminal 1 Building or in Terminal 2 Building.

Upon disembarking the plane, find out if your domestic flight is in Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. If your international flight arrives in one terminal building, but your domestic flight is in another, you can take the shuttle bus to get to the other terminal building. The bus is free of charge.

If your international and domestic flights are with the same airlines, contact the airline you are flying with for procedures. It’s best to do this even before your travel date, so you know how to navigate around the airport when you arrive.

If your international and domestic flights are with two different airlines, you must exit the arrivals gate before proceeding to your next flight. Afterward, you can complete the boarding procedure for your domestic flight with the other airlines at the check-in counter.

Relax at the Sakura Lounge before your next flight

If you are flying in from an international destination, Take a breather before your next flight by staying in the Sakura Lounge at Kansai Airport. You can have a taste of Japanese cuisine, catch up on work, or spend some time relaxing.
