The Chiba Isumi Golf Club is one of the region's most popular courses. Featuring 27 holes in the Boso Peninsula’s rolling hills, it's remained a favorite since opening in 1979. Here, the fairways expand to 40 meters wide, while the average par-4 length reaches 400 yards.

Although there are a few blind holes to master, the courses are generally considered beginner-friendly. Meanwhile, the leafy scenery remains beautiful throughout. Head to the club restaurant to dine on set menus featuring pork steak and Nabeyaki udon.

PGM Sohsei Golf Club

PGM Sohsei Golf Club

PGM Sohsei Golf Club has attracted golfers for over 60 years. Set within a lush forest, this tranquil place changes throughout the seasons with towering cedar trees, cherry blossoms, and colorful azaleas. Plus, each of the three 9-hole courses offers a firm test.

Once you’ve overcome the bunkers, ponds, and valleys on the course, head inside for a sophisticated breakfast, lunch, or dessert. Later, as the sun begins to set, consider visiting the soothing bathhouse to rejuvenate your weary legs.

Yonehara Golf Club

Yonehara Golf Club

The 18-hole course is skillfully laid out on hilly terrain, with each hole boasting a unique character. Utilizing the natural expanse of the spacious grounds, each hole is separated by rich woodlands, creating a serene and distinctive atmosphere. The course is highly strategic, featuring ponds and strategically placed bunkers throughout. There are an average of five tee positions per hole, and the greens are undulating. Noteworthy holes on the front nine include 7, 8, and 9, offering views from the restaurant. On the back nine, hole 18 is particularly challenging with a pond on the left side, contrasting beautifully with the surrounding trees.

The front nine holes are separated by trees, requiring accurate shots to avoid scoring penalties. On the other hand, the back nine offers wide fairways and longer distances, allowing for powerful golfing enjoyment.
