What is an eAWB?
An electronic air waybill (eAWB) is a digital replacement for the paper-based waybills used for air freight in the past. Air waybills are important transportation documents. Use of eAWBs allows waybills to be issued and managed online in place of a paper waybill.

How to Use
Step 1 Arrange for activation notice
Please inquire at a sales office.
Step 2 Booking
Please make bookings on the portal site.
Step 3 Issue electronic air waybill (eAWB)
Generate the eAWB on the system and forward it to JAL.
Which cargo allow use of eAWB
Allowed cargo
- Mixed consignments (including temperature-controlled and dangerous goods)
- Straight consignments (including temperature-controlled and dangerous goods)
- Human remains (HUM)
- Live animals (AVI)
- Once you have an eAWB, you can send your dangerous goods declarations (DGD) by e-mail as PDF files.
- Departure airports where service is available: Tokyo Narita (NRT) and Fukuoka (FUK)
