Container (crate) requirements
You are responsible for providing your own animal carrier (transportation container), which must satisfy the following requirements:
1. The fish must be contained in at least two layers of waterproof material.
2. If the external container is made from non-waterproof materials such as a cardboard box or styrene foam, the internal packaging must satisfy requirement 1 above.
3. To prevent leakage of air or water, the opening of the container must be securely sealed.

- Waterproof design:A sealed container must be used to prevent water leaks.
- Adequate oxygen supply:Ensure that there is an adequate supply of oxygen.
- Appropriate temperature control:The container must be designed to maintain the water at a temperature that is appropriate for the species of fish.
- Use of appropriate thermal insulation: Use an insulated container that minimizes the effects of external temperature.
- Smooth internal surface: The interior of the container must be smooth enough to prevent injury to the animal.
- Provision for keeping out light:The container must be able to be shaded to minimize stress.
- Compliant with laws and regulations: All necessary transportation documentation must be attached.
- Temperature control: Do not use heating pads or other dangerous goods to keep the container warm.
