JMB members who have accrued 50,000 FLY ON Points (including 25,000 FLY ON Points for JAL Group flights) or more or 50 flights (including 25 JAL Group flights) or more and 15,000 FLY ON Points or more on JAL Group Airlines and/or oneworld alliance member airlines in a calendar year will be enrolled in JMB SAPPHIRE.
- Applicable to the numbers of boarded JAL Group flights with fares eligible for JMB mileage accumulation.
"JMB SAPPHIRE" members can also use the oneworld SAPPHIRE Services.

When your preferred JAL Group flight is fully booked, priority waitlisting will apply based on the type of fares. When your preferred oneworld alliance member airlines flights are fully booked, priority waitlisting will also apply at the respective oneworld alliance member reservation centers.
JMB SAPPHIRE members will receive an additional 100% sector bonus miles on JAL Group airlines flights or American Airlines(*1) flights when traveling with eligible fares during the eligible period.
*1 Effective from April 1, 2011(flight date)
- Mile-Up Bonus is not awarded in duplication with JALCARD Bonus Miles.

Airport lounge service is available when flying on JAL Group airlines flights.
Lounge access for the member and one traveling companion upon presentation of the SAPPHIRE card.

Members can take a third and a fourth companion to the airport lounge using airport lounge coupons issued in exchange for JMB Miles. Airport lounge coupons must be requested and receired prior to travel.
(JAL First Class Lounge and DIAMOND / PREMIER LOUNGE JAL Arrival Lounge in Haneda Airport and Lounges in Paris, Shanghai<Hongqiao> access is not permitted.)

- Maximum of four persons (including the member and traveling companions) are allowed for a single entrance to the lounge.
- Please present one lounge coupon per person for each use of the lounge.

When you fly with oneworld alliance member airlines, you can use their lounges located in more than 400 airports worldwide. The member and one traveling companion are allowed to enter the lounge.
- Lounge access by using lounge coupon is not permitted.
- For details of lounges when flying on oneworld alliance member airlines flights, please ask the airport staff of respective airlines at the time of check-in.
- At peak periods,access to certain lounges may be restrictid due to capacity constraints.
Access is available on the day of departure when your next onward flight is with a oneworld alliance member airline.
Access may not apply at a limited number of third-party-operated lounges.

By presenting the SAPPHIRE CARD, all of the Services indicated below will be available upon departure when flying on JAL Group airlines flghts.
International flights :First Class counters
JAL Global Club(JGC) check-in counters
When flying with oneworld alliance member airlines, you can use the priority check-in counter indicating oneworld tier status.
- Only Executive Class counters or JGC check-in counters are available at the airports where the First Class counters are not located.

- Priority Check-in is available for members only.
- This services may not be available depending on the airlines, routes, airport facilities and fares.
JMB SAPPHIRE members who are flying on JAL Group flights will have their baggage tagged as priority.

- Priority Baggage Service is available for members only.
- Priority Baggage Service is not available when the baggage is checked through to/from flights operated by other airlines.
In addition to the standard checked baggage allowance, JMB DIAMOND members who are flying on JAL Group operated flights are allowed to check the following extra baggage free of charge.
●Domestic flights : up to 20kgs
●International flights : one extra piece (up to 32kgs per one piece)

- Extra Checked Baggage Allowance is available for members only.
- Extra Checked Baggage Allowance Service is not available when the baggage is checked through to / from flights operated by other airlines.
By presenting the SAPPHIRE card and boarding pass, the members have the privilege to board prior to the regular passengers, with the First/Executive Class passengers on JAL international flights or on oneworld alliance member airlines flight.
- Priority Boarding Service is available for members only.
- Service may not be available for some airports and flights.
- Priority Boarding Service is not available when flying on JAL Group Japan domestic flights.
By presenting the SAPPHIRE card, priority standby will apply when you wait for a seat on JAL Group Airlines flight or on oneworld alliance member airlines flight at the airport on departure day.
- For Japan domestic flights, standby number is applicable to First class, class J and regular seats.
- This service may not be available at some airports or for flights, and may not be available in the event of bad weather such as typhoon and heavy snow.
JGC member and one traveling companion can use the entrance when they fly on JAL Group domestic flights departing from Haneda Airport Domestic Terminal 1.
By presenting the SAPPHIRE card and boarding pass, the member and one traveling companion can use the exclusive security check service "JAL Fast Security Lane", when they fly on JAL international flights departing from Narita Airport Terminal 2.
- This service is available when members fly on a code-share flight bearing a JAL flight number and operated by the partner airlines departing from Narita Airport Terminal 2. However, this service is not available when members fly on a code-share flight bearing a flight number of partner airlines and operated by JAL.
Members can upgrade to the next higher class of service on JAL Group flights by using Upgrade Points. Upgrade Points are transferable to the member's family.
Members can redeem miles for class J coupons valid on JAL Group Airlines domestic flights. Coupons are valid for use by the member, spouse or first- or second-degree relative of the member.
●4,000 miles = 6 class J coupons
- Not available for JMB Members outside of Japan.
- Coupons must be requested in advance, either online or by phoning the Matteru-kun Toll-Free Line. Please allow 1-2 weeks for your coupons to arrive.

JMB members who are eligible for JMB SAPPHIRE will be invited to join an exclusive club, JAL Global Club (JGC), designed to cater to the needs of our most experienced travelers.
