JMB members who have accrued at least 50,000 FLY ON Points (including 25,000 FLY ON Points for JAL Group flights) or more or at least 50 flights (including 25 JAL Group flights) or more and at least 15,000 FLY ON Points or more on JAL Group Airlines and/or oneworld alliance member airlines in a calendar year will be enrolled in JMB SAPPHIRE.
- * Applicable to the numbers of boarded JAL Group flights with fares eligible for JMB mileage accumulation.
"JMB SAPPHIRE" members can also use the oneworld SAPPHIRE Services.
Services for oneworld SAPPHIRE status
- "JMB SAPPHIRE" is not given in duplication with other services of "JAL Global Club".

The period of services introduced are as indicated below.
Services and benefits available from two months after the date of accumulating sufficient FLY ON Points. Valid through March 31 of second year following membership qualification.

When your preferred JAL Group Airlines flights are fully booked, priority waitlist will apply based on the type of fare.
When your preferred oneworld alliance member airlines flights are fully booked, priority waitlist will also apply at the respective oneworld alliance member reservation centers.
JMB SAPPHIRE members will receive an additional 100% sector bonus miles on JAL Group airlines flights or American Airlines flights when traveling with eligible fares during the eligible period.
- * Mile-Up Bonus is not awarded in duplication with JALCARD Bonus Miles.
- * From October 1, 2012 (departure date), Brisith Airways flights will be eligible for Mile Up Bonus.
Airport lounge service is available when members FLY ON JAL Group airlines and oneworld alliance member airlines.

Lounge access for the member and one traveling companion upon presentation of the SAPPHIRE card.
Members can take a third and a fourth companion to the airport lounge using two airport lounge coupons issued in exchange for 4,000 JMB miles.
Airport lounge coupons must be requested and received prior to travel.

When you fly with oneworld alliance member airlines, you can use their lounges located in more than 400 airports worldwide. The member and one traveling companion are allowed to enter the lounge.
- * Lounge access by using lounge coupon is not permitted.
- * For details of lounges when flying on oneworld alliance member airlines flights, please ask the airport staff of respective airlines at the time of check-in.
- * At peak periods,access to certain lounges may be restricted due to capacity constraints.
Access is available on the day of departure when your next onward flight is with a oneworld alliance member airline.

When flying with oneworld alliance member airlines, you can use the priority check-in counter indicating oneworld tier status.

In addition to the standard checked baggage allowance, JMB DIAMOND members who are flying on JAL Group operated flights are allowed to check the following extra baggage free of charge.
- JAL Group Japan Domestic flights : up to 20kgs
- JAL International flights : one extra piece (up to 32kgs per one piece)
- * Extra Checked Baggage Allowance is available for members only.
- * Standard free checked baggage allowance is 32kg or less per baggage even when flying JAL International Economy Class and Premium Economy Class.

By presenting the SAPPHIRE card and boarding pass, the members have the privilege to board prior to the regular passengers, with the First/Business Class passengers on JAL international flights or on oneworld alliance member airlines flight.

By presenting the SAPPHIRE card, priority standby will apply when you wait for a seat on JAL Group Airlines flight or on oneworld alliance member airlines flight at the airport on departure day.

- * For Japan domestic flights, standby number is applicable to First class, class J and regular seats.
- * This service may not be available at some airports or for flights, and may not be available in the event of bad weather such as typhoon and heavy snow.
JGC member and one traveling companion can use the "JAL Global Club Entrance" when they FLY ON JAL Group domestic flights departing from Haneda Airport Domestic Terminal 1, Itami, Fukuoka and New Chitose Airport.
By presenting the SAPPHIRE card and boarding pass, the member and one traveling companion can use the exclusive security check service " Fast Security Lane", when they FLY ON JAL international flights departing from Narita Airport Terminal 2.
- * This service is not available when members FLY ON a code-share flight bearing a flight number of partner airlines and operated by JAL.
Members can redeem miles for class J coupons valid on JAL Group Airlines domestic flights. Coupons are valid for use by the member, spouse or first- or second-degree relative of the member.
- 4,000 miles = 6 class J coupons
- * Not available for JMB Members outside of Japan.
- * Coupons must be requested in advance, either online or by phoning the Matteru-kun Toll-Free Line. Please allow 1-2 weeks for your coupons to arrive.

FY2013 JMB FLY ON status members or members who apply for introductory services of FY2014 JMB FLY ON status will receive 6 Class J-e Coupons valid until March 31, 2014 [Flight date] for Upgrade to Class J on JAL domestic routes.
We will provide items exclusive to Diamond, JGC Premier and Sapphire members in the reputable "JAL Totteoki-no-Ippin".
FJMB members who are eligible for JMB SAPPHIRE will be invited to join an exclusive club, JAL Global Club (JGC), designed to cater to the needs of our most experienced travelers.
