Connecting To And From JAL Domestic Flights
International departure/arrival airport
From international flights to domestic flights at Tokyo International Airport (Haneda)
Please ensure that you check the transfer procedures prior to boarding. Depending on your time of arrival and boarding, transferring from an international flight to a domestic flight will vary.
Please check if you have checked baggage and a boarding pass for your domestic flight as the transfer procedures will vary.
- Passengers with a layover of 60 minutes or more at the domestic transfer counter upon arrival
- Passengers who have less than 60 minutes upon exiting the arrival gate
After completing the procedures at the domestic flight transfer counter and the security checkpoint in Terminal 3, please take the free inter-terminal airport shuttle bus directly to the boarding gate in Terminal 1.
Step 1
International Arrivals (Terminal 3, 2nd Floor)
Upon arrival at Terminal 3, 2nd Floor, please complete quarantine, immigration, and customs procedures.
All passengers must clear the customs inspection at Haneda airport. Please collect your checked baggage at the baggage claim area and proceed to the customs inspection.
Step 2
JAL domestic flight transfer counter (2nd Floor)
Please complete your boarding procedures and check your baggage at the domestic flight transfer check-in counters located on the 2nd Floor.
- If you do not have checked baggage, please go to the domestic transfer security checkpoint (Step 3).
- If you do not have checked baggage but do not have a domestic boarding pass, please go to the JAL domestic flight transfer counter.
Step 3
Domestic transfer security checkpoint (2nd Floor)
Please proceed to the domestic flight transfer security checkpoint located on the 2nd Floor.
Step 4
Domestic transfer bus (1st Floor)
Proceed to the domestic transfer lobby located on the 1st floor, and then take the domestic transfer bus to Terminal 1.
Step 5
Domestic Flight Boarding Gate
Proceed to the domestic flight boarding gate at Terminal 1
Note
OpenFrom Terminal 3, please take the free inter-terminal shuttle bus to Terminal 1 and complete procedures for your domestic flight.
Passengers can also choose to take the Keikyu Line and Tokyo Monorail. Complimentary tickets will be issued at each Terminal's information counter.
Step 1

Step 2
Please take the free inter-terminal shuttle bus directly to Terminal 1
Please board the free inter-terminal shuttle bus from the bus stop at Terminal 3, 1st floor, and proceed to Terminal 1 (Arrivals, 1st Floor).
- Passengers can also choose to take the Keikyu Line and Tokyo Monorail. Complimentary tickets will be issued at each Terminal's information counter.
Step 3
JAL domestic flight transfer counter (2nd Floor)
Upon arrival at Terminal 1,1st Floor via the free inter-terminal shuttle bus, please proceed to the staffed check-in counters located in both the North and South Wings of Terminal 1, 2nd Floor.
There are two check-in counters. Please check your destination and proceed to the relevant check-in counter.
- If you do not have checked baggage, please proceed to Step 4, the departure security checkpoint.
- If you do not have a JAL domestic boarding pass, despite having no checked baggage, please proceed to the JAL domestic flight check-in counter.
Staffed check-in counter for passengers departing for the Chugoku, Shikoku, Kyushu, and Okinawa regions (South Wing End)
Passengers departing for the Chugoku, Shikoku, Kyushu, and Okinawa regions, please complete your boarding procedures and check your baggage at the staffed check-in counter located at the end of the South Wing of Terminal 1, 2nd Floor.
Staffed check-in counter for passengers departing for the Hokkaido, Tohoku, Hokuriku, Tokai, and Kinki regions (North Wing End)
Passengers departing for the Hokkaido, Tohoku, Hokuriku, Tokai,
and Kinki regions, please complete your boarding procedures and check your baggage at the staffed check-in counter located at the end of the North Wing of Terminal 1, 2nd Floor.
Step 4
Departure security checkpoint (2nd Floor)
Please proceed from the check-in counter to the nearest departure security checkpoint (2nd Floor).

Domestic Flight Boarding Gate
Please proceed to the domestic boarding gates at Terminal 1.
