Now with just one phone call, travelers can easily book and purchase their tickets on Japan Airlines. And, since most JAL routes can now be e-ticketed, JAL Ticket Service can simply e-mail or fax your flight confirmation and receipt to be presented at check-in, avoiding worries of misplacing or losing paper tickets. Passengers who reside in the U.S. or Canada can purchase the following types of fares/tickets: |
|
- Newly purchased tickets containing JAL international flights (including JAL codeshare flights) using individual normal fares/published special fares (JAL Value Fare, Super APEX Fare, etc.).
- Domestic connecting flights within U.S./Canada may be included. JAL/JTA Japan domestic flights using normal fares, Yokoso Japan Airpass and Welcome to Japan fares are also eligible.

- JAL Ticket Service accepts the following credit cards issued in the U.S. or Canada: Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, DINERS, JCB and DISCOVER. JAL CARD issued in Japan is also accepted.
- The cardholder ( the name on the credit card ) must be the passenger.
The request must be made by the cardholder.
- JAL COUPONs may also be used towards payment of airfare when using JAL Ticket Service. The U.S. dollar equivalent will be applied. Click here for more information.
JAL COUPONs can be applied directly after mileage has been deducted without having to request paper coupons and then send them to JAL Ticket Service.
- This service is not available for JMB mileage award ticket issuance.
- If the itinerary is not eligible for e-ticketing, paper tickets will be issued and mailed to your credit card billing address in the U.S. or Canada.

Requests can be made for e-tickets through JAL Ticket Service until 3 p.m. Eastern time (noon, Pacific time), one business day* prior to your departure date. Your ticket will be electronically stored in JAL's computer system, and the e-ticket itinerary/receipt can be retrieved through JAL's Website by accessing "View My Reservations." However, if you can not display/print the e-ticket, we are able to send it via e-mail or regular mail (to your credit card billing address only). |

For itineraries requiring paper tickets, 5 business days* are required. Your paper ticket will be sent to your credit card billing address by regular mail or by FEDEX** (for requests made between 5 and 7 business days* prior to your departure date, delivery by FEDEX** is required). |

*JAL Ticket Service is closed Saturdays, Sundays, U.S. national holidays, the Friday before Easter and the 4th Friday of November (The day following U.S. Thanksgiving).
**FEDEX delivery incurs an additional charge of USD15.00. |
